• Material: Carved walnut frame, sprung and upholstered seat
• Dimensions: Chair approx. 35 in high x 23-24 in wide; ottoman approx. 22 x 17 in
• Color/Finish: Sage green velvet with brass nailhead trim on the ottoman
• Condition: Frame sound and carving crisp. The upholstery is soiled and worn throughout - this is priced as a reupholstery project, not as a finished piece
• Era/Period: 19th century
A carved walnut armchair in the Louis XV manner with its matching ottoman - shaped and carved crest rail, scrolled arms, and cabriole legs front and back. The pair sells together.
We are pricing this honestly as a frame. The sage velvet is tired and marked, and anyone buying it should budget to recover both pieces. What you are buying is the carving and the joinery underneath, which are good, and a chair-and-ottoman pair that is genuinely hard to find still together.
Sold as found. Pickup or local delivery only.
