Shipping Policy

Most items are local pickup only

VaultXL sells furniture and household goods from estates and downsizes across the Charlotte area. A great deal of it is large, heavy or fragile — dining suites, china cabinets, sofas, glass-topped tables — and cannot be shipped safely or economically.

These items are available for pickup in Charlotte, North Carolina, or for local delivery within the Charlotte metro for a fee. The listing tells you which applies before you buy.

Local pickup

Pickup is by appointment. After your order we will contact you within one business day to arrange a time.

Please bring appropriate help and a suitable vehicle for large items. We can assist with loading, but we cannot transport purchases and we cannot disassemble furniture on your behalf. Measure your vehicle before you come — dimensions are published on every listing.

Items we do ship

Smaller goods — jewellery, watches, pens, books, collectibles and accessories — ship within 3 business days of your order via a tracked service. You will receive tracking by email when the item leaves us.

Fragile and higher-value items are packed properly rather than quickly. If that takes an extra day, we will take the extra day.

Where we ship

We ship within the United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.

If something arrives damaged

Photograph the item and the packaging before unpacking any further, and email support@vaultxl.com within 48 hours of delivery. Transit damage is one of the two circumstances in which we accept a return, and we will refund you in full including original shipping. See our Return and Refund Policy.
