Terms of Service

These terms apply to purchases from VaultXL LLC through this store. Please read them before ordering.

1. Who we are

VaultXL LLC is an estate transition, downsizing and asset liquidation company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Contact us at support@vaultxl.com or (704) 975-1405.

2. Many items are sold on consignment

A significant portion of what we offer belongs to our clients, not to us. Where an item is consigned, VaultXL markets and sells it as the authorised agent of its owner. Title to the item passes directly from that owner to you upon payment in full. This does not change your rights as a buyer, and every policy here applies regardless of whether an item is consigned or owned by VaultXL.

3. Every item is unique

We deal almost entirely in pre-owned, one-of-a-kind goods. Each listing is a single item held in a single quantity. There is no second one, no restock and no alternative colour or size.

Because of this, an order may very occasionally be cancelled if the item has sold through another sales channel before your order was processed. If that happens we will notify you promptly and refund you in full immediately.

4. Condition and description

All items are sold as-is. We describe condition honestly and photograph flaws rather than hiding them, and we publish dimensions so you can judge fit before buying. We do not represent used goods as new, and we do not guarantee that a pre-owned item is free of the wear its age implies.

Where an item's maker, age, materials or authenticity are uncertain, we say so in the listing rather than guessing. If we have not verified something, we will not assert it.

5. Pricing and availability

Prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel any order, including after an order has been placed, in which case you will be refunded in full.

6. Returns

All sales are final except where you received the wrong item or the item arrived damaged in transit. Our Return and Refund Policy sets out the full terms and takes precedence over anything general stated here.

7. Pickup and delivery

Large items are pickup or local delivery only. Risk of loss passes to you when you take possession of an item at pickup, or on delivery to the address you provided. Our Shipping Policy sets out the details.

8. Sales tax

VaultXL is registered to collect North Carolina sales tax and charges it where applicable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, VaultXL's liability in connection with any item is limited to the purchase price paid for that item. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
