Pickup & Delivery
Collecting what you buy
Most of what we sell came out of a Charlotte home and is not the sort of thing that goes in a post bag — dining sets, casegoods, mirrors, art. So the default is that you collect it, and we make that as easy as we can.
Local pickup — Charlotte, NC
Pickup is free and by appointment. When your order comes through we contact you within one business day to arrange a time, usually within one to three business days.
- Please bring help and a suitable vehicle for large items. We can assist with loading but we cannot transport.
- Bring your order confirmation. We hold every lot under its VXL number, so the number is the fastest way to find your piece.
- Measure your doorways and your vehicle first. Every listing carries the dimensions we have; if one is missing, ask before you travel and we will measure it.
Delivery within 20 miles of Charlotte
If collecting is not practical, we deliver. Flat fees, chosen at checkout:
- $100 — large furniture. Sofas, dining sets, casegoods, wardrobes, anything that needs two people.
- $50 — everything else. Chairs, side tables, lamps, mirrors, art, boxed lots.
Delivery covers a 20-mile radius of Charlotte. If you are further out, ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can help or whether a courier is better value.
We deliver kerbside as standard, with in-home placement by arrangement. We do not disassemble, install or mount.
Smaller items ship
Jewellery, watches, pens, books, discs and small decorative pieces post normally. If a listing offers shipping at checkout, it ships; if it does not, it is pickup or local delivery only.
Before you travel
Ask us anything you need to know first — more photographs, a measurement, a closer look at a mark or a repair. Everything we sell is second-hand and described as found, and we would far rather answer a question than have you make a wasted trip.
