The Persol 649, the frame the house has made since 1957 and the one most people picture when they picture a Persol. Havana acetate, teardrop lenses, the silver Supreme Arrow set into each temple and the segmented Meflecto joint behind it that lets the arms flex rather than splay.

• Condition: Good, pre-owned. The frame is sound — no cracks, no repairs, both arrow ornaments intact, hinges firm. The lenses carry fine hairline scratches that show in raking light, most visible on the right lens; they are not obvious head-on. Photographed unretouched so you can see them.
• Not included: no case, no box, no papers
A note on the model number, since the two are often confused: this is the 649, which has a solid keyhole bridge. The 714 is the folding version. The temple marking and the photographs both show a fixed bridge.
