PRODUCT DETAILS

• Material: Offset-lithographic poster on white poster stock, framed under glass in a plain black-painted wood moulding, no mat

• Dimensions: Framed approx. 24 1/2"W x 30"H; sheet approx. 22" x 28"; printed image approx. 15 3/4"W x 13 7/8"H

• Color/Finish: Black-and-white landscape image printed in black ink on white stock, black-painted frame

• Condition: Fair. The image area is clean with good blacks, but the lower white margin shows two areas of abraded/impressed paper with surface residue at the upper edge, plus a small red/orange speck and a fine scratch. Sheet is slightly cockled. Frame is sound with minor edge rubs.

• Era/Period: Photograph taken 1941-42; this poster is a later open-edition reproduction from the ongoing Mural Project poster series, still printed today

• Subject: Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona - stepped buttes and terraces in strong side light with the San Francisco Peaks on the horizon. The poster's own printed disclaimer states it was "Printed from a copy of an Ansel Adams photograph," meaning this is a reproduction poster, not an original photograph or print by Adams. There is no signature, no edition number, and no publisher's mark on the sheet.

This is a large, ready-to-hang black-and-white Grand Canyon scene in a sound black frame, suited to a den, office, or reading room wall. It's an open-edition poster clearly disclosed as such by its own printed text, sold here for its decorative image and usable frame rather than any claim of rarity or origin.

The estate service behind this shop

Every piece here came out of a real home. VaultXL is a full-service estate transition and downsizing company — we sort, value, photograph and sell household belongings when a family downsizes or an estate settles, then hand the property back broom-clean.

  • Families keep 85% of every sale. Our 15% covers photography, research, listing, storage and buyer handling.
  • Flat project fees from $350 for a single room to $4,500 for a whole home — quoted after a free assessment, never billed hourly.
  • Jewelry, art, firearms and vehicles go to credentialed partner appraisers before anything is priced.

Serving Charlotte and the surrounding area. Other Carolinas metros are on a waitlist.
