Original Oil on Canvas Painting Autumn Landscape with Barn Ornate Gilt Frame
PRODUCT DETAILS
• Material: Oil on canvas, in a composition-gilt frame
• Dimensions: Framed approx. 15 x 13 in; sight size approx. 8 x 6 in
• Color/Finish: Autumn palette of yellow, ochre, and orange foliage with a red-roofed building; ornate gilt frame with rubbing and minor loss to the raised gesso ornament
• Condition: Sound overall — no tears or visible craquelure; no glazing; frame shows expected wear to the high points
• Era/Period: Undated, 20th century based on materials and frame style
• Subject: Autumn landscape with a dirt farm track leading toward a red-roofed barn, signed in red oil at the lower right; the signature is not clearly legible and does not resolve to a known or listed artist name
This is an original hand-painted oil, not a print — individual brushstrokes and impasto ridges stand up from the canvas surface, and the signature sits directly on top of the dried paint. The autumn color palette and heavy ornate gilt frame give it strong presence as decorative wall art for a den, hallway, or reading room. It is offered as an unattributed decorative period oil rather than a work by a named artist.
