Equestrian and Sporting Scarves — Norma Dori and Laura Borghese, Set of Four

Four large squares on the English country theme, bought as a wardrobe rather than assembled as a lot. Two are signed Norma Dori, the London house whose equestrian squares are collected for exactly this: bridles, horns, hounds and a hunt going out over snow.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

• Norma Dori — winter hunt scene, riders and hound pack, navy border with a burgundy and white ribbon frame

• Norma Dori — saddle and tack, navy ground with a red and blue saddle blanket

• Laura Borghese — pheasants in flight around a navy geometric centre, cream field

• Unsigned — two horse heads in a cartouche on red, gold chain-and-bit border

PRODUCT DETAILS

• Dimensions: large squares, approx. 30 x 30 in each

• Material: fine silk-style woven cloth, hand-rolled edges on the signed pieces. Fibre content is not labelled on the pieces we can read, so we are describing the hand rather than claiming a fibre.

• Colour: navy, burgundy, oxblood red, cream, tan

• Condition: Very good. Colours are strong with no fading at the folds, no holes, no pulls found on inspection. Stored folded, so expect fold lines that press out.
