GEMSTONE DISCLOSURE — ENHANCED BLUE TOPAZ

• The largest stone is blue topaz, and its colour is ENHANCED (treated). Indra Gemological Lab identification card, report IGL/2021/04/3033, dated 8 April 2021: Natural Topaz, colour blue, rough and uncut, approx. 70.20 carat, 30.3 x 24.4 x 14.7 mm, refractive index 1.61–1.639. Comments: Enhanced.

• "Enhanced" means the blue colour is the result of treatment. The card does not state the treatment method.

• Two further Indra cards, for stones of roughly 40 and 49 carats, have not been examined in the same detail, and no separate claim is made for them.

• A small bag of blue stones and a bag of rough red material are unidentified and untested. No claim is made as to what they are.

• The identification cards have not been verified with Indra Gemological Lab.

A grab-and-go estate jewelry grouping. Long knotted pearl ropes are a perennial bridal and vintage-fashion staple, and the gold-tone knot and hoop earrings are wearable as they are. The rough blue topaz and its lab cards will interest a mineral collector, and the lot is priced for treated topaz. A good fit for a reseller parting out a lot, a costume designer sourcing period pieces, or a jewelry maker who wants knotted strands to restring.
