Two-piece bridal set in 18k white gold, ring size 6: a natural round brilliant centre stone of approximately 1.00 to 1.20 carats, set in a raised halo of small round diamonds, on a split shank pave-set the length of both shoulders, with a matching pave wedding band.

CLARITY - PLEASE READ. The centre stone is heavily included, in the I2 to I3 range. The inclusions are visible to the naked eye: there is noticeable haze through the table and dark crystal inclusions that can be seen without a loupe. This is stated plainly and priced accordingly. If you want an eye-clean stone, this is not that ring.

What it is instead: a substantial, genuinely sparkly natural-diamond ring with real presence on the hand, at a fraction of what the same look costs new. The halo and pave work carries the piece visually and the total diamond weight across centre, halo and shoulders is well above the centre stone alone.

PROVENANCE. Purchased new from Ross-Simons in Atlanta in February 2010. The original dated retail receipt accompanies the set and is available to the buyer on request.

CONDITION: Mounting in good order. All halo and pave stones present and seated, prongs intact, shank shows normal wear with no thinning and no repair marks. Metal bright with no plating loss.

NOT CERTIFIED. No GIA or IGI report accompanies this ring; carat weight is estimated from measurement, not from a lab document. Any buyer is welcome to have it independently examined before purchase, and we would encourage exactly that.

Priced for a direct private sale rather than a trade buy-out. A jeweller or pawn buyer will offer very little for an I2/I3 stone - that is the trade reality for this clarity - so this is sold to someone who wants to wear it, not to someone reselling it.
