Leatherdale-Stamped Vanitas Photograph 1989, Skull and Eggs, /10, Gold Frame
Black-and-white vanitas still-life photograph of a skull and eggs in a gold-leaf wood frame, about 16 in square framed (approximate, by eye). The back carries a stamp reading (c) MARCUS LEATHERDALE with '#228', a pencil title line reading 'Birth & Death VANITAS 1989' ending '/10' (the digit before the slash is cut off at the frame edge), and a pencil signature, partly under clear tape, that is not fully legible. Identified from the stamp on the back; not authenticated by a third party, and the numbering is as read from the back.
