Family Dog FD-84 — The Doors / Captain Beefheart, Family Dog Denver 1967, Bob Schnepf
An original Family Dog poster from the Denver room, for the weekend The Doors played it. Not a reproduction.
Bob Schnepf drew it for Friday and Saturday, 29 and 30 September 1967, at the Family Dog at 1601 West Evans Avenue, Denver, Colorado — The Doors, with Lothar and the Hand People and Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band. Two-fifty on the Friday, three-fifty on the Saturday. The image is a crowd of robed figures ascending toward a checkerboard sun, printed red over teal.
