• Material: Solid pine and oak frame, plywood lid panel, steel hinges, hasp latch and corner hardware

• Color/Finish: Original sage green over off-white paint, heavily crackled and chipped; interior painted dark green/teal with natural plywood lid

• Condition: Good for age - authentic chippy paint loss down to bare wood, surface scuffs, light rust/oxidation on hinges and latch, decals worn with flaking, no key present, no strap handles, structurally sound and lid opens/closes on original hinges

• Era/Period: Circa 1940s, WWII / mid-20th century military or utility chest

• Weight: Approx. 32-38 lb empty

• Markings: Two applied Great Seal of the United States eagle decals (E Pluribus Unum banner, striped shield, crossed flags) on the front panel; painted numeral on center stile
